Excellent, compassional, professional, and helped my! I was referred to Dr. Barewal by my sleep medicine physician after being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. I was using CPAP but finding that I was having so much air pushed into my stomach. (I also travel a bit and like to camp and carting around CPAP with a battery is a pain in the rear...) Dr. Barewal gave me all of the information I needed to understand what oral appliances are, how they are use, the different types. After discussion, she did a 3d reconstruction of my mouth (!) and then ordered the appliance. Over the next several months she worked with me to adapt to the appliance and advance it to the correct position. She was meticulous in follow up to make sure to take care of any issue that arose as I got used to the new appliance. Dr. Barewal has been my dentist for about 4 years. She is dedicated, diligent and kind. She is a highly trained specialist in prosthodontics as well as a TMJ expert and I have needed both those capabilities! She has helped me stabilize my jaw and become better at taking care of my teeth. Her staff are always kind and I can see it comes from her leadership and collegial ways.
