We LOVE Dr. Stang! I have a 10-year-old and we were both nervous about her getting braces (I recall how stressful and painful they were as a child). Other orthodontists suggested very invasive-type braces, but Dr. Stang promoted a slower, less painful approach. My daughter is on Phase 1 with her braces and she also wears headgear at night, which she has no issues with so far. In fact, my usually-picky child is quite content in her headgear, sleeps fine, and asked if she could wear it to school (thanks Katy Perry for making braces cool to 4th graders). In addition, her entire staff is wonderful and caring. I was so stressed about payment, and had some issues with my insurance. Susan helped us work it out so that I can actually afford the orthodontics and help my kiddo have a great smile in the future. Dr. Stang also personally called after each appointment to make sure my daughter was feeling good and that there were no issues. That is a true personal touch. I can't recommend this office enough! They are wonderful!

The most amazing customer service experience ever with the greatest doctor! The staff is so professional and caring and you can tell that they love working there with Dr. Stang. The office is so clean, state of the art, and comfortable. My family and I felt right at home and my daughter loves going in for her appointments! She is about 6 months into her braces treatment and everything has gone so smoothly and her teeth already look amazing! Seriously Dr. Stang is incredible and even my younger son likes coming in too. She really knows my kids and remembers everything! I told all of my friends not to go anywhere else!
Extremely pleased with our experience. My son is in braces currently and he loves Dr. Stang. I could tell immediately that she is great with kids when I met her during our consult. I think the best review i can give is that we will be taking our younger children to see Dr. Stang when the time comes, and have already recommended this office to friends.

I really love this place and I was so happy that I visited Dr. Stang's orthodontic office! The team is so welcoming and the environment is very family-friendly. I was really impressed with how much time Dr. Stang spent with me and my daughter- she really made sure we were comfortable and answered all of our questions in detail. Dr. Stang team is awesome! Everybody from the front desk to the assistants are super friendly and very knowledgeable. The office has also a very easy access in Reston. I go all the way from Lansdowne and it's super quick!

Any oral doctor can be intimidating and uncomfortable but I felt reassured and very comfortable during my visits. Dr Stang is very knowledgeable and has practical experience which I look for in all my doctors. She has a logical approach to treatment and has very fair and reasonable prices for treatment. Her assistants are polite and very friendly. It was just an overall very pleasant and enjoyable experience for me. I noticed a very patient and accommodating approach with children from the entire staff while I was there also. My experience here was so great that I felt inclined to write a review. My children's pediatric dentist told us that we need to see an orthodontist and that we HAVE to go see Dr. Stang because she is the best in the business - and boy am I glad we got that referral. Dr. Stang is great at what she does, is wonderful with both of my kids (they LOVE her!!), and the staff is very welcoming. After letting our pediatric dentist know how happy we have been, we received a "I told ya so" :) A couple of other positives: The scheduling is painless here and they try their best to accommodate our family schedule whenever possible. The appointments are fast and we never have to wait long. The office is new, hip, and up-to-date. Absolutely two thumbs up from this happy camper!
