We brought our 4 month old daughter in to release an upper lip tie. For 4 months, we have been battling our way through tongue and lip issues, resulting in low milk supply, in order to be able to breastfeed. After seeing numerous doctors, ENTs, and lactation consultants, no one was able to make things better for us, and we were told to leave the lip tie alone. 4 months in, we looked into this option with hopes that it might make a positive difference. With all that we've been through, we needed a caring and gentle approach, and that's just what we found at Smile Wonders. The environment was warm and friendly, and all of the staff were incredibly kind. During our consultation, Dr. Jaju confirmed my daughter had a lip tie, but also that she had a tongue tie as well. She was mindful enough to recommend that we have a lactation consultant lined up before the procedure was done, and gave me some recommendations. After we walked out I was able to get in touch with an LC and make a quick appointment, and we asked if Dr. Jaju could still fit us in that day. The whole staff worked to fit us in that same day, and did not make us feel rushed or that we inconvenienced them. The procedure itself took probably about 6 minutes and my daughter seemed to really like the staff members who worked with her. Overall this was a great experience when it could have been very stressful. I would recommend Dr. Jaju and Smile Wonders to any parent with an infant with lip or tongue issues!
I highly recommend! I was recommended to this practice for my 6 week old's lip and tongue ties and I was unsure if I wanted to proceed with having them corrected. Rashita Jaju not only made me understand the pros and cons of the procedure, she made me and my son feel comfortable, heard, and ultimately very well cared for. After the procedure, my son was very uncomfortable for that first afternoon and I was still doubting myself for my decision to proceed. Jaju provided me reassurance and even her personal cell phone for the evening so I could provide updates and ask questions. Even though I knew in my head that I had made the right decision to correct the ties, my heart hurt sering my son unhappy and Jaju couldn't have been more supportive and reassuring. Now 3 weeks later, I'm without any doubts the procedure was beneficial - my son's latch has improved, he's eating better, gaining wait, and breastfeeding is more comfortable. And Jaju's support and highly skilled techniques and precision (using a water laser) made this a very positive experience.
Dr. Jaju is an exceptional pediatric dentist. She listened to all our concerns and presented options for care. We needed to have a tongue tie release done for our infant and she was recommended to us. She was gentle with our daughter and performed the necessary work quickly. She even checked in with us later in the evening to make sure we were doing well. She went above and beyond in the care of our child.
Everyone in the office was so helpful and nice. Dr. Jaju was very professional and comforting and was very thorough in explaining everything and answering all our questions and addressing our concerns. She was very knowledgeable about infants and breastfeeding. I highly recommend Dr. Jaju!
Dr. Jaju was great. Very professional and personable and clearly a star in her field. My 2 1/2 year old son had extensive lip and tongue ties and Dr. Jaju was instrumental in guiding us through the process and performing very thorough releases of each affected area. Although I was very concerned about the sedation element of the procedure, given the squirmy nature of the patient it was clear that sedation was necessary in order to get a complete release at each spot and I am very glad I trusted her expert judgment.

Dr. Jaju and staff were super friendly, knowledge, and compassionate. The office is very clean and welcoming. Dr. Jaju took her time with us, was very thorough explaining the procedure (lip and tongue tie), and she answered any questions we had. I never once felt rushed; she even cuddled and sang to my daughter to calm her down after the procedure. Also, received a text message from her that night asking how my daughter was doing. Wow!!! I can't think of any other doctor doing this. She definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend Dr. Jaju to anyone. She was worth the hour and a half drive. Thank you Dr. Jaju for taking such good care of our little princess.
My daughters have been seeing Dr. Jaju since they were 3. She is very nice and professional, and always takes her time to listen and to explain things. We love her new office, and staff members. The place is very kid friendly with toys, ipads, TVs to keep kids entertained. There is a nursing room for Mothers with babies, and an office for working parents while they wait.
going in for my 3 month olds frenectomy could not have been an easier process. The thought was making me very nervous, but Dr. Rishita and her staff were amazing in every way. We were greeted and they were all so kind and gentle with my daughter and before I knew it my angel was back in my arms happy and the frenectomy was done!

All of the records are electronic and recorded right there. My daughter asked lots of questions (shes 5) and they were all answered with patience and grace. While my daughter was being worked on my son was entertaining himself in the most amazing playroom I have ever seen at a doctors office. I have no problem driving almost 1 hour to take all my kids to Dr. Jaju. Dr. Jaju and her staff are top notch. Especially recommended for babies and for kids with special needs. Could not be happier with her. My kids also love to go there. The place is very clean, modern and inviting. A true pediatric dentistry.
Our experience was wonderful! Our newborn had tongue and lip ties and Dr. Jaju was so helpful and worked with us to find the best solution. She really put us at ease and the results were fabulous. Prior to our visit my daughter could barley nurse. She is now almost 4 months and is a nursing champ.
Staff and Dr. were wonderful with my son. Office facilities are top-notch. Play area, cartoons, balloon, friendly staff made my 1.5 yr old son have a fantastic time even though he hates having anything done to his mouth. I wish this was my dentist/office!
Dr.Jaju is an amazing dentist. We recently moved to the area and were looking for a dental home for our sons. Visited with her last week for a 6-month cleaning appointment and was impressed with the professionalism of the whole staff. She is so calm and gentle with our kids - very refreshing. Loved the office environment, clean and modern. Definitely one of my favorite healthcare provider.
Dr. Rishita and her staff are wonderful!!! My daughter has very complex dental issues. She does not like going to the dentist. She cries and it can be very stressful for both of us. However, Dr. Rishita made the experience very positive. She was patient and understanding, and took a lot of extra time with my daughter. I highly recommend Smile Wonders!
