Dr. Kortam and her team is amazing. They make you feel so welcomed and appreciate as soon as you walk in. They are very accommodating and flexible when it come to scheduling. They have a quick response back if I email or call them about a question or just to schedule my appointment. Dr. Kortam is a excellent Doctor. She is caring, professional, and a perfectionist. She lets you make your own decisions and respect the choice you make. I would definitely recommend her.
Exceeds expectation
This doctor shaved off part of my tooth without my consent. The action was entirely unconnected to the purpose of my visit. Two days later, it still feels like I was punched in the mouth. I don't understand how this can happen accidentally.
I absolutely recommend Ashburn orthodontics. The staff are wonderful and very friendly and everyone seems to love working there. Dr Kortam was fantastic and she makes you feel so comfortable every visit. I am very pleased with my results and highly recommend her as your doctor. They are also very accommodating with appointments. I moved twice from this area out of state (NC and FL) and they always fit me in when I came back to Ashburn for my checkups.
Dr. Zahera is an amazing Doctor. She was the one who did my braces and checks on everytime! Im amazed by the results of my teeth! They are straight and i have never had a problem while wearing the braces and definitely no problem afterwards!
If I could give Dr. Kortam and her staff 100 stars I would. I just completed my 2 years wearing braces and I stare at my teeth amazed they are mine and look so good. I am sad that I don't see my Dr as much as before, but I do get to visit for retainers. Everyone here is friendly, Dr. Kortam makes sure your teeth are perfect, and that you are comfortable with everything she is doing. I wish she was my dentist, my regular dr., etc. Amazing Dr., staff and I am so happy I went back to get my teeth straightened after all these years. Thank you Dr. Kortam forever your number one fan!!
Dr. Kortam and her staff are absolutely fantastic! They are great at what they do and are extremely warm and friendly. Scheduling is always easy and I never have to wait when I arrive for my appointment. Dr. Kortam will make sure your alwayd wall out of the office satisfied and happy. I can't say enough good things about all of them!
Best orthodontist ever hands down. I've come here for over a year and half. I ABSOLUTELY love the staff who are so friendly and the doctor is amazing. Dr. kortam always puts in the best work and effort to make sure you are happy and comfortable with your teeth! Really great experience it's a great time every time I come here. Very professional work. Moved about 40 mins away and still came to Doctor kortam! Absolutley love the way my teeth looked after treatment. She's by far the best doctor ever! She's very professional and polite. I'm 21 and I was always scared of having braces, but her work is so good you can't even tell I have them on, and she always ensure that I have no pain and my appointments are always on time.
Choosing Ashburn Orthodontics was a really easy decision for us. We had been shopping around for an orthodontist for a while. We wanted someone close to home, great atmosphere, and affordable pricing. We went to different consults, some were priced too high, some too low- lacking quality, some didn't have a good chair side manor and some made us feel like we are just another number on their list. When we choose Dr. Kortam the first thing my son and I liked about her was her patience, during the consult and even after we started. She has been thorough from the first day making this an easy treatment. She is understanding, caring, and really loves seeing her patients happy. The location is perfect and the hours are great for before and after school and weekends. Her office is always so accommodating. The treatment price was very fair, especially talking into account the retainers, the emergency visits, the broken brackets, etc. I know some orthodontist charge for each- but her office has been really great with making exceptions. Her team is wonderful. They are always cheerfy and very welcoming. We love catching up with everyone and see them as our Ortho family. We've been going there for a year and a half and it's nice catching up and talking every time. They are always on time, and if they are running a few mins behind its because they have accommodated someone else and they always let us know as to when we will be seen. We are approaching the end of the treatment and I am very happy with the results so far, she is a perfectionist and I know my son is in great hands. I'd give them 10 stars and def recommend them to family and friends. Thanks!

When I finally decided to get an appointment with Dr. Kortam I wasnât sure about it, I felt I was kind of old to get braces and that was something I should have done when I was a kid. Doctor Kortam was so friendly and patient, she took the time to show me the different options and help me pick what was best one for me, she was very excited about me starting the treatment. When I first came into her office I wanted to try and get the invisalign treatment, and what is the first thing you notice when you first go into an orthodontist office? The patients waiting there, there was a girl who was there waiting, she had a follow up appointment about her invisalign and he teeth looked really amazing, that got me even more interested. The staff is absolutely friendly and they make you feel so welcome, the facilities are extremely clean which is huge and they always have pleasant music in the back which is so nice and relaxing makes it more fun. The overall environment is a very friendly and welcoming, they are just so accommodating to your needs. I had a cross bite and so Dr. Kortam told me that invisalign would make my front teeth look incredibly straight but that I needed something stronger to correct the actual cross bite, so she suggested braces. I got clear ceramic braces on top and classic metal braces in the bottom teeth. Cross bites are not easy to fix when you are an adult, but she was able to do it, and she used traditional rubber bands nothing too crazy, she wanted to try the conventional way first and it worked out really well. We worked really well together, her and her staff are so flexible, they would make time to see me if I had any emergencies, and they are open the first Saturday of every month, plus they are open super early on Wednesdays (at 7:00 am) which helped me so I didnât have to take time off from work. She is a perfectionist and took her time to hear me to make sure I was happy with the results I was getting. Treatment was supposed to last between 18 and 24 months, I have to say my teeth were looking great by the 24th month, so we used a bit more time to work on minor details and make my teeth look just the way I wanted them, I wasnât in any rush and I wanted them to look nice and so now I have a perfect bite. One thing I have to say that is huge, your ortho and dentist need to be in sync, Dr. Kortam goes the extra mile to ensure we are all on the same page, you, your dentist and your orthodontist, so she likes to be in touch with your dentist in case there is anything that needs to be done after the treatment or during, so thatâs a huge plus. She would also take the time to remove my wires before I had every cleaning with my dentist and would take the time to see me again on the same day to put them back on. My dentist really appreciated that, you get a better cleaning and she can check your better without the wiresâ¦From beginning to end Dr. Kortam was absolutely sweet, maked me feel like she cares and I was just extremely excited to see the end results. They are very flexible and willing to work with you with flexible payment options, they make things more affordable. If you are considering orthodontic treatment I would recommend anyone to consider her, I had a great experience she is very professional, and works with anyone adults, kids age doesnât matter. They also have fun activities and contests, if you decide to start a treatment with her, I can guarantee you her and her team will make this journey really fun for you. I know everyone at the office by now very well and they all know me, I became more than just the patient who was going to her follow up appointments.
