Sedation dentistry is used to provide a relaxing and anxiety-free experience for certain people receiving dental treatment. It enables individuals too afraid to go to the dentist to receive the dental care they need while avoiding the common apprehension known as dental phobia.
Dr. B is one of the best dentists around. He makes me feel at ease every time I see him. The dental hygienists all do an amazing job and Dr. B meets with me personally every time to ensure that I have a smooth visit and no issues with my teeth.

This is the first dentist I've been to that did not belittle me because of my oral hygiene. They treated me with respect and explained all my procedures to me. Super effiencient and friendly! Definitely my dentist for life!
Love this office. The staff is wonderful. If it's a billing question or scheduling the front staff can answer it. If it's a routine cleaning or a deep root cleaning Sarah can clean it. If it's a filling, root canal or dentures the good doctor can do it. The whole staff really are just lovely. I have high dentist anxiety but now it's a breeze. I always laugh and smile now during an appoiintment. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Dr. Bakhtyari is an excellent dentist. His bedside manner is outstanding. He is thorough about explaining and showing (via X-rays, sketches, etc.) the procedures to be performed. He walked me through the entire process and let me know what he was about to do ("You're going to feel some vibrations", "I'm going to clean up and polish the fillings") He listens to concerns and answers any questions the patient may have. I trust and value his expertise and highly recommend him.

Originally I was a referral to the practice by a friend who suggested it, and boy was she right! Couldn't ask for a better dentist in NOVA! This appointment I was actually taken back early because Dr. B. was ahead of his daily schedule and as always, I was treated professionally. Dr. B's bedside manner is great; he is funny, makes connections to his patients on a personal level, and genuinely cares about his practice. Once, when he was running behind schedule I received movie passes for my "pain and suffering!" No dentist has EVER done that for me. Overall a wonderful practice and I would recommend it to a friend without hesitation.

I changed my dentist of 14 years to Dr. Bakhtyari and I couldn't be happier. So far I've only had two visits with him but he has already gained my trust. I love how he explained to me what he was doing step by step and he was very caring and gentle unlike other dentists I've had in the past. I am very glad that I picked Dr. Farshad as my dentist. Previously I visited another dentist for about an year, but I was somehow not happy with her treatment. I shifted to Dr.Farshad and realized on the day one that I made a good decision. I did a tooth filling and I can feel how perfect and exemplary he accomplished it. I took my wife for routine check up. Each and every tooth was observed and taken pictures. Showed us the pictures and reviewed with us. His recommendations are good and convincing. I am sure that you will also agree to my observations after visiting Dr. Farshad.
