All three dentists are great. The staff is kind, patient, and calm. The waiting room is full of murals, books, toys, and a big fish tank, which the kids love. To top it off, they take home a new Disney character toothbrush and a goodie bag. Hard to beat!
These folks have a magic touch. Both of my kids have been traumatized by prior dentists. Screaming discomfort. One strapped my toddler to a board while she screamed throughout a necessary filling. Suggested general anesthesia for the next toddler when he wouldn't "cooperate". I took him to Dr. Oppenheim. She and her staff put him at ease and had such a gentle touch his cavity was filled before he realized that they had begun work. Each visit since has been a joy. We never miss a cleaning or exam, and now the kids have had ortho work with their related practice, Orthodontics for All Ages. Everyone there is so kind, gentle, proficient, and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.
All four of my children have been receiving dental care including braces (only one set of braces to go) from Pediatric Dental Care and Ortho for all Ages for the past 15 years. My kids have never once dreaded receiving dental care--even extractions. We have seen all the dentists. They are wonderful, caring, and do a fantastic job educating children and their parents about proper dental care that kids will carry with them for the rest of their lives. All the staff, including hygienists and administrators, are so friendly and helpful. In short, PDH offers medical professionalism at its best. Their office is the most charming, child-friendly pediatric office you will ever experience. My son even asked if he could have his birthday party at their office. No child leaves without a dental goody bag! This is easily the finest pediatric dental practice in Chicago.
