Sedation dentistry is used to provide a relaxing and anxiety-free experience for certain people receiving dental treatment. It enables individuals too afraid to go to the dentist to receive the dental care they need while avoiding the common apprehension known as dental phobia.
OMG!!! It was amazing!!! Dr. McKenzie is so intelligent and wants to help you be the best you can be. She is a fabulous dentist!!! I would fly across the county to see her, like I did. I live in Oregon and ended up in her office in March of 2020. Talk about a caring, giving, loving human!!! I highly recommend her. If there were 10 stars she would get them!!!
Not honest or communicative about what she was doing in my mouth and did not listen to my responses, she drilled down perfectly good teeth until I needed crowns all across my top left side.
Never! Worst experience ever !
I've tried this dentist twice in the past 10 years. Both times the staff are VERY nasty and VERY incompetent! I don't understand how this dentist has a 4.0. They screwed up SO many things with my family! Including giving me THE WRONG MEDICATION!! STAY AWAY! Also, never trust the hours they have online. They randomly close whenever they want to. And never expect them to call back when they say they will.
Dr. Buro is an excellent doctor. I originally started seeing him when he worked in Washington, DC and I only stopped when he moved out to Leesburg because of the commute. The dentist I found to replace him was fine but after several years, I decided it's worth the trip out to Leesburg to have Dr Buro as my dentist. He is an artist and you will never find someone who makes a more realistic looking and comfortable crown. I can't tell his crowns from my real teeth!
One of my crowns she did needed a root canal, the other one has a crack.
Ms. McKinzie is seemingly pleasant, but tries to be everything. She can not keep an assistant for any length of time, which is concerning. She doe not have the latest equipment.
I'm so disappointed. I had to go in today since I had an old filling fall out. I was under a lot of stress and was surprised at how cold they were when I came in. Not sure if it had anything to do with my conversation with Anna prior to going in or not, if so that was so unprofessional. Since my first visit was an amazing experience I was deeply disappointed with this one. I hate going to any Dr. and now I don't ever wish to go back to the dentist. Hope this will help the staff there to try to be a little more friendly and professional.
My family of five have been with Dr. Buro and his staff for at least 13 years. With our multitude of dental blues, we have always been greeted with the kind and gentle touch that kids and adults, who are in pain, need from time to time. Dr. Buro and his staff have ALWAYS been accommodating and informative on what we do and don't need. Another thing to mention is that they have never tried to UP sale us on what we need for our dental needs, but have always honest and forthright. I went in for an emergency visit to get a crown. I appreciated them getting me on the schedule, but that's were the fun stopped. I was there for over 3 hours and three different techs couldn't get the temporary right. One of the Drs had to finish up. They kept asking me if the fit was good, but I was so doped up, and had been sitting in the chair so long with my mouth open that I couldn't really tell. I took a few hours to realize that something was wrong. I went back in on an impromptu visit, and the head Dr fixed the issue, and noted that way too much material had been left on the temporary crown. Fast forward to today.....I take off work to have the permanent crown installed. No shocker that it wasn't made correctly and the Dr said I needed another temporary! After the Dr left, her tech--one of the ones from the first appointment--- said she could fix the permanent crown, despite whatever the Dr had just told me. I pointed this out and demanded that the Dr finish the remaining work. The tech kept trying to work on the temp! So, I have to go back for a 4th visit (hope it's the last) to finish this up. I doubt that my story is an anomaly. My guess is that this place relies way to heavily on techs, rather than Drs. Will not be going back once this is done. The $600 company doesn't even touch the cost of time off from work. I went in for an emergency visit to get a crown. I appreciated them getting me on the schedule, but that's were the fun stopped. Horrible experience! They lied to people with medicaide when a dentist begged to save a 14 year olds tooth they told her to extract it anyways because Medaid will give 85 dollars for an extracted tooth and told the front desk to lie and put that the girl was kicking & screaming in her chart so that Medicaid will give an additional 85 dollars for mental behavior... They are con artist & so rude to customers and staff. Don't ever take your child here if you care about there well being Horrible experience! Worst experience with a dentist office I've ever had! The office manager is rude and aggressive towards you if you don't want to pay $750 for zoom whitening and instead want the $200 whitening the technician who cleaned my teeth told me she does on her teeth. The manager refused to give me information on this procedure, claiming they only offer zoom whitening. I asked for the technician, I was told she was wth a client. I asked for her to call me back so I could ask her for the name of the procedure since the front desk is not aware of what clients are told during their visit. She never called me back despite at least 10 attempts to call for information. The manager needs to enroll in some customer service classes and needs to brush up on general rules of social norm.
